MORE ABOUT MEDITATION
Meditation, means "to contemplate". Meditation is used in different belief systems and cultures so it may vary what it means depending on where people are from.

What kind of Meditation
* MEDITATION FOR UNDERSTANDING AND CONNECTION:
silent meditation with only initial guidance, there can be soft meditation music in background (for some it maybe takes time to be in peace with complete silence and the thoughts have full volume). It serves to contemplate. Our mind is working all the time and we don't have to try hard to switch it off but see what arises in our mind, let it pass and then connect again through breath to our body. Thoughts come and go and we are contemplating them, contemplating whatever arises in us. In this fast paced world sometimes we don't take the time to stop and understand ourselves. This is a good practice to know what is going on inside of us, maybe also what we feel in our body, what we feel in our thoughts.
* MEDITATION WITH FOCUS ON A GOAL:
this is a guided meditation, maybe you already participated or heard some before. This meditation can have different focus points, for example, meditation for relaxation, for stress relief, to reduce anxiety, for abundance, for positive energy. There is an imagery given which helps to reach a certain goal. Mostly known is this for of meditation nowadays, or at least the most commercial one.
